For having zero shake-down hikes, I nailed this gear list.  I wouldn’t carry less, but I could have gone lighter (if I had a budget to go lighter).  However, I already had nearly every piece of gear, so I made due with the lightest options I had.  I carried a heck of a lot of food too (sometimes the 20L bag was not large enough).
